Privacy and cookies

The short version

The free tier of Touch Line Bets has no accounts, no login and no tracking cookies. Your bet record is stored in your own browser and is never sent to us. We cannot read it, restore it, or hand it to anyone else, because we do not have it.

What is stored on your device

Your bet record lives in your browser’s local storage under the key openline.bets.v1. It stays there until you delete it or clear your browser data. Nothing in it is transmitted. Export to CSV if you want a copy that survives clearing your browser.

Cookies

The free tier sets no cookies at all, which is why there is no cookie banner. When Pro accounts open, a single strictly necessary cookie will hold your session, and that category does not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies we will ask first, and we have no plans to add advertising.

What our host logs

Touch Line Bets is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs, including IP address, request time and user agent, for security and operational purposes. We do not combine those logs with anything else or use them to build a profile of you.

Third parties

Odds are fetched server side from The Odds API, so your browser never contacts them and they never see you. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN, so no third party sees your requests for them. We embed no advertising, no social widgets and no session recording.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. For the free tier there is nothing to exercise them against, because we hold no personal data about you. Once Pro accounts exist we will hold an email address and billing reference, and those rights will apply to them.
